The Evolve502 Scholarship allows eligible JCPS Class of 2024 graduates to pursue up to two years of college tuition-free. So no matter, if you’re wanting to earn an associate degree or a credential, pursue a trade, or get a jump-start on a four-year degree by getting up to 60 credit hours with no tuition-costs, the Evolve502 Scholarship can help you reach your college and career goals.
Scholarship Details
What is the Evolve502 Scholarship?
The Evolve502 Scholarship is a last dollar scholarship for eligible JCPS Class of 2024 graduates; that covers tuition costs after federal and state aid. It can be used to earn up to two years of tuition-free postsecondary education to pursue an undergraduate degree, a trade, a credential, or a certification.
To receive an Evolve502 Scholarship, students must:
- Complete the Evolve502 application and meet all eligibility requirements
- Graduate from a JCPS high school as part of the Class of 2024
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
- Apply to one of our partner institutions:
Jefferson Community & Technical College (or any KCTCS school)
Simmons College of Kentucky
All steps must be completed by July 15, 2024.

Evolve502 is a non-profit organization committed to creating a path to post-secondary education and careers for Louisville’s youth. Our goal is to ensure students have the resources and supports needed to ultimately apply, enroll, and complete a college program. Ultimately, we’re working to increase the number of post-secondary degrees in Louisville, transforming the lives of our students and our community.
