Our four new coaches will help ensure Evolve502 scholars have the resources and supports needed to complete their postsecondary degree or credential. Salem, who graduated from Simmons College of Kentucky and was an Evolve502 scholar, now supports current Evolve502 scholars at Simmons and KCTCS schools outside of Louisville. We’re finishing out a busy week with professiona

We’re finishing out a busy week with professional development training for our Evolve502 reading tutors. These reading tutors – all local college students - do an amazing job working with youth. But to help them better prepare for life after college, we offer monthly professional development opportunities. These sessions, which cover topics like workplace etiquette and personal branding, make sure our tutors have the tools needed to be successful in their careers after earning their degrees. Thanks to Henderson & Payne for leading these sessions for our tutors!

Thanks to our many community learning hub directors who joined us today for our first Evolve502 professional learning community (PLC) meeting! We collaborate with these organization leaders to improve youth development practices for greater student outcomes through our learning hubs. The Evolve502 PLC focuses on sharing resources, best practices and providing authentic networking opportunities. We already can’t wait to see this group again next month!
